Te Korowai Hauora o Hauraki is a rural Iwi-based, not-for profit, incorporated society providing affordable health and wellness services across the Hauraki rohe for over 25 years.
Our Whānau Health Centres provide a wide variety of services to our community from traditional GP clinics through to education, wellness care, mental health services, whānau support, home-based support services, health promotion and public health services.

Our Whānau Health Centres provide easy access to a range of health services such as GP or nurse appointments for the whole whānau.
Our Ohu Kāinga Home Assist service specialises in providing home-based care. Our range of services are based on the individual needs of Kaumātua and clients to support you to remain living in your own whare.
Our Tamariki Ora/Well Child service is for children of all backgrounds aged 0 to 5 years and their whānau.
The service provides assistance and education to mothers and guardians about the care and wellbeing of their babies.
We provide a range of services tailored to meet the unique needs of Kuia and Koroua in our rohe including Disability Information and Advisory Services (DIAS), specialised Kaumātua Programme and Mirimiri.
Our Hinengaro (Mental Health) services are available free of charge to whānau of all ages throughout Hauraki.
The Public Health Services at Te Korowai Hauora o Hauraki cover an extensive range of services for all members of our local rohe.
If you or one of your children are unwell with a cough, sore throat, runny nose or fever please request a video or phone appointment in the first instance.
If you require a Covid-19 test (swab) — please call us and you will be assessed by a GP who can book you in — do not come directly to the clinic. There is currently no testing of asymptomatic patients (Patients who are well or have no symptoms).
Te Korowai Hauora o Hauraki have five Whānau Health Centres located in Thames, Coromandel, Te Aroha, Paeroa and Whitianga.
